Howdy!
My name is Gill Wells
As for introductions,
here goes:
I grew up in Zimbabwe, completed my degree at Rhodes University in South Africa, and spent the first 11 years of my career in London.
I’m now Group Product Manager at Adyen in Amsterdam, which means I get to work with incredibly smart, talented people, in a payments organisation that is forward thinking, agile and on top of it’s game. My role encompasses the world of Recurring Payments, pushing to ensure a secure and frictionless e-commerce future. So it comes as no surprise that there is a whole section of my site dedicated to this topic!
Another hat I’m proud to wear is my role in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives. As the Women in Payments and Fraud Co-Chair and Co-Founder at the Merchant Risk Council (MRC) and committee member in LGBTQ+ and Women communities at Adyen, I am able to connect with like-minded folk and contribute to the industry in a meaningful way.
Integrity, adventure, loyalty, ambition and humour are what make me tick; and I’m lucky enough to have friends and family scattered across most of the globe. When I’m not working, I prioritise travel, sport, food and the wonderful people in my life.
I'm always up for a chin wag or even just a simple hello. So, if you'd like to connect or ask me anything, feel free to contact me.
